About Sojourn
An integrative approach to wellness, rooted in evidence and faith

Sojourn Integrative Wellness developed over time in response to a growing recognition of gaps in how struggling Christians are supported. Seasons of doubt, exhaustion, grief, emotional overwhelm, or missteps are not signs of spiritual failure, yet many believers carry unnecessary guilt or shame through these trials that might feel difficult to name and share. We sensed a need for a space that acknowledges these realities honestly and offers support to move forward authentically and sustainably.
Sojourn exists to equip fellow sojourners with thoughtful resources and encouragement that integrate Christian faith with research-informed insight. While many secular wellness tools are helpful, they often fall short of addressing the deeper work of soul and spirit that are critical to flourishing and are intricately connected to the mind and body. At the same time, faith-based spaces do not always draw on the growing body of research that affirms what Scripture has long revealed about human formation, safety, relationship, and growth. We believe these can be complementary, rather than competing, sources of truth.
At its heart, Sojourn is grounded in the belief that flourishing unfolds slowly, through the ebbs and flows of real life, and within relationships as we were designed for — although this is not always easy to live out well. Through this platform, we seek to support Christians in navigating complex lives with a spectrum of supports that are research and faith informed, ultimately led by Grace.
What We Mean by Wellness
At Sojourn, wellness refers to the integrated health of the whole person—spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, and physical. These dimensions are inseparable and are shaped over time through rightly orienting towards grace, truth, and community.
Looking Ahead
Sojourn is a growing work. As this space continues to take shape, our hope is to expand the ways we support integrated well-being — through deeper resources, practical tools, and thoughtfully curated offerings that honour both evidence and faith, and meet people where they are on the journey.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
- Hebrews 6:19
This space brings together my work as a PhD-trained social scientist in applied research and my personal experience navigating unexpected seasons and chronic health challenges. Much of the content is shaped in conversation with my husband, Will, who serves as a trusted sounding board and brings many years of experience in social work and leadership. That perspective is a gift—especially as we’ve weathered heavy storms together and, by God’s grace, have moved through them and continue to live with their after-effects. As this work unfolds, our hope is that Will may be involved in additional ways as the space continues to take shape. We are grateful for this opportunity to share a commitment to care, grace, and research-based knowledge that can hopefully support others in their healing and growth over time.
You’re welcome here—wherever you find yourself on the journey.
